Technical questions for the MPC2000xl and the MPC2000

is it possible to make a scsi chain like this:

MPC --- ZIP --- MO drive --- PC

I know it is physically possible although there are 3 types of connectors used:
the mpc and pc controller have HD50, the zip has 2 times the 25 pin connector and the MO drive has one 25-pin and one BIG 50-pin connector.

I do have all the connectors, but I would like to know if this will work...

OR: is it better to get rid of the MO drive and just use the ZIP between the MPC and computer ?

Kinda. but the PC part will cause read write errors with MPC.
MPC and PC connected to the same storage devices aint nice. they dont work the same format, MPC writes in own format and the pc overwrites its so when the mpc goes back to see you get funny characters on the screen also you try the chance of blowing your scsi fuse in the process.
This I have learnt from my own experience.
Take the PC part out of the equation and you fine. when u want to back up yor stuff disconnect the MPC whilst turnt off then connect to PC, then Backup.

mmm... actually I wanted the computer and the mpc to be connected to eachother with one (or two) scsi devices between it, to run MPCeditor...

so I could make PGM's on my computer, put it on the MO or ZIP and then load the PGM's into the MPC.

I don't have a second zip or MO drive so...
