protecting ur music...HOW?

Forgive me i know this the wrong place to post..Please direct me to the appropiate place....

How do u guys protect your music when giving it to lets say a emcee/singer to work with.. if the answer is mailing it off to the copyright place, what if the work is not completed and u make changes to the track, is it still protected....

Yeah it's still protected/ I've sent basic mixes off the government before anyone hears them but my closest fam. Nothing gets emailed before I send it off to the CC place, even if it's a rough.

You dont send them off one at time do you? Do you wait and compose tons of them..i want to start dumpin my tracks off but i want to get them protected first..Thanks

Nah usually one CD, you can send 30 CD's or more. but I like to keep current.
