I have a lot of old 45's an lps that I sample from but sometimes I find something that makes me say damn that must have been sampled before... Is there like a website that keeps track of what samples have been used already in recognizable releases? I know there was a book around but what was it called and where do you get it? Or if there's a website too that would be cool. Thanks

I was just about to post that I had found it.. Thanks tho
BTW, how do people feel about using something that has been used before? I've heard lots of beats that I've recognized being used before but I don't know if people look down on that or what?Peace

Some funky french moog rock stuff from the late 60's
I looked it up and it says it has been sampled before but that's cool anyway
It has a sick beat on it.
Peace

You think Dre was the first to sample David McCallum's "A Bit more of me" for "The Next Episode"?? nope! I think he was the third to do that...

Here is an old original samples mixtape that I did...working on another...
It will play automatically...

Yeah...iits called "Just to Get a Rep" by GangStarr, produced by Primo.

Sample that and prepare to get clowned unless you flip the bejeezus out of it.
