If you are asking me, I don't use my ASR at all any more. The only synth that I've been using lately is my Triton Studio. I also have a Motif Rack.

Actually the ASR-10 has a 16bit sampler, not 12. And its the 16bit sampling engine and just the type of ADCs in the ASR-10 that give it its sound. The sample rates that you can choose betweent are 30 and 44.1khz.
Also FOO, yes the ASR does come with some factory sounds but that is hardly what people are talking about when they talk about the "sound of the ASR-10". When people discuss the sound of the ASR-10 they are talking about its input/output ala the MPC3000 etc. Those disks that come with the ASR-10 are wack and completely useless.
The effects on the ASR are excellent and I have used many of them in various productions. I can't speak for the LE effects but I do have a Triton Stuidio and the TS effects blow the ASR out of the water.
For the record, I've owned an ASR-10 since they were put on the market. I bought one when they were like 6 months old.
what???.....are you trying to play mind games???....your the one that said it was a 12 bit sampler......and now you've owned on since they were 6 months old?........i am not doubting that you owned on for that long but...please...don't try to act like we made the mistake by saying ish like " ACTUALLY......."...like you are opening up our eyes![]()
