change the number at the end of the text ion step edit, usually after the D:.

the higher the number the longer the duration.

Yes, I know…. But with mine DURATION doesn't work on samples recorded to MPC60. Or maybe I have to set some other settings? If I record a sound and then go to STEP EDIT, position the sound, for example on the very beginning, and start to change the duration, then nothing happens. Duration of the sample doesn't change. It is different when I connect an external sampler. In that case DURATION works very good, as I would like it to work on sounds which are inside MPC60.

yes that's precisely it if you are using OS 3.10, pretty much the 3000 OS.

THe Old OS can't change to mono or note off.

Like I have said before, if the 3.10 OS didn't exist, I would be using a 3000, but since it does, the 60 is perfect for me.
