MPC 60 to Multitrack Question

Hi. I've had a korg D12 for some time and am looking to buy an MPC 60 II. For recording, how can I hook up the MPC to the D12? Do I need to run it through say an 8 channel mixer first or something?

Sorry, I'm totally lost. I've only been making turntable compositions with my D12 and my DJ setup.

you can just hook up the stereo out to the recorder, or use some of the individual outs. A mixer is cool, but you probably don't need one yet, you can use the mpc without it. Make sure you get the latest OS, I was using the old OS last night, it's no way to work compared to 3.10.

Can I assign simultaneously playing tracks from the MPC to simultaneously recording tracks of the D12 that way?

sorry for the double post, just read up on them and learn the MPC, it is a long good road with many rewards.
