SCSI conflict...HELP!!!
hello all, i am new to this site and hopefully someone out there can help me out. i have an old MPC 2000 and using an Iomega 100 Zip drive.
i've been using Pro Tools so haven't really needed to get into my old zip files but now that i need something and my zip drive went kaput.i bought a new zip drive today(well, a used one as its pretty tricky finding a new scsi one) and i've been getting this posted on my MPC:
"SCSI CONFLICT ON ID #6"
what does this mean? i have the back of the Iomega on ID5 and Termination is On. my MPC is formatted for SCSI 5 yet this alarm appears.
ring any bells?
thanks!
