where can i get my mpc 2000 lcd replaced?

NOT SURE WHAT THE PROBLEM IS, THE SCREEN JUST FLASHES ON AND OFF, I CANT USE IT, MAYBE ITS SOMETHING SIMPLE MAYBE NOT...MAYBE YOU CAN MAKE SOME $ ON THIS EASY FIX?...IT HAS SMPT AND 32 MEGS RAM..PEACE

is there any where in US that could fix this?

I replaced the backlight on my 2000xl recently.
I ran into a similar problem...
I corrected it by turning the ribbon connector around ...I just had it in the slot wrong side up. It was joy joy after that. But Be Ready to do a little sweating taking that baby apart. If not .try one of the links on the other posts and spend some chips....

if like g whizz says it could be corrected it by turning the ribbon connector around i dont wanna watse the loot if there a simple solution you know?

sounds like you got it for a song, rip it open and check the connectors. if not then spill thwe beans and resurrect live dormant beast.
