Keyboard to MPC PROBLEM

I can hear my notes on the keyboard when i am in sample mode, but i can't hear anything when i want to add some synth to a drum performance. You know, while a sequence is playing in the main screen. What am i doing wrong??

If you're usin midi cables,the track has to be set to midi and not drum.

Yeah, you'll get more answers if you ask this question in the open forum than if you PM me with it you know.

Your keyboard audio output needs to go to a mixer. Channel 1 and 2.

Your mpc audio output needs to go to that same mixer. Channel 3 and 4.

Your headphones need to be connected to that mixer in order for you to
listen to both machines mixed together.

The line ins on the 2kxl are ONLY active when you are in sample mode.

You cannot sample and record a sequence at the same time.
