Anyone know if there is a way to use reason modules to sequence on the MPC.

I would basically wanna use reason like a module. like a motif rack or somethin

the only thing i've been able to do is set the MPC as a master and Reason as a slave. It works good if you create sequences in Reason. However, i haven't been able to use the MPC as a midi controller to control settings in Reason (volume swells, panning, etc.) I Just use it as a play and stop sync function. You're better off getting a midi keyboard controller if you want to control settings other than play and stop with the MPC. Hope this helps.

How would you get a keyboard to act as a slave. I've been tryin' to set that up for my mpc 2000 but can't. the manual isn't helpin too much. I used to know how to connect everythin' but I've been out of it for so long.

open reason.

edit > preferences > select your midi input device > close window >

options > edit midi remote mapping >

highlight whatever effect, sampler or synth that you want to control then a bunch of green arrows appear. click on each arrow and assign a knob from your midi controller to activate each control. make sure that you select "learn from Midi controller" option when you are assigning a knob or key from your midi controller.

sounds complicated but its real simple. works great in a live situation. hope it helps.
