Just in jest. I got your meaning yeah sometimes people don`t know enough background on the music of the music and start going from a to z withou ever thinking about all the great music that they listen too, bought and dance too over the years. I bought the CD first then went to see the mofo play live second or never got the chance to see the mofo play. I was not watching the artist play in the video either just how it bump. :?:

blue haze chill the **** out- try to realise that outside your small insular world that words have many meanings- im personally insulted that you called me racist and am puzzled to how you thought my statement had racist connotations- read the thing in context- and that means ripping down those passive/aggressive walls you've built around yourself and you'll realise that even if i was making a derogatry remark it would have made no sense....you are essentially racist for jumping to the conclusion that im like every other 'grey boy' and that i slip back into 'old granddad and grandmom talk'.....

i personally love japanese culture and my second cousins are japanese- not that i really feel that that's at all relevant- **** you haze, **** you...

Some more good input from peeps. I thinks this is a good discussion, but just wanted to say as I dont think I explained myself too well before. First & foremost I LOVE music whether it be a pure unplugged acoustic guitar number or a 130 bpm Underground Resistance / Techno monster.. What I think ya gotta appreciate is sampling is just another tool in ya arsenal & if you can play keyboard/bass whatver it just gives ya far more options than having to use someone elses melody.
I (try) to produce more 4/4 beat stuff than breaks, although do mess with em also, but ya gotta concentrate on what ya know sometimes, but I know my limits also, i know basic keyboard skills, scales/chords etc but am in no way a grade 8 classical pianist so gotta use technology to help me out sometimes.. But if i was a real good pianist it would open up a whole new world to me..
I do agree with Elmacaco & Haze though.. its what ya do with ya Samples thats the key.. gotta stay in charge of ya machines. sounds sometimes that people get too carried away with all the clever functions and forget its whats comin out ya speakers thats important..

Good food for thought though folks :roll:

Rather than say I apologize if you misunderstood me you attack maybe that shows some hidden feelings you wanted to say. It was funny that you come off calling racist. Bigoted if I like others lived, understand American X history ring a bell or anything else about how a ignorant mofo thinks. Hey I grew up, lived, work and fought with and aganist of my best friends who may have grew up like you with all kinds of stuff coming out of granddad and grandmoms mouths cuz they told me. I don`t say white cuz that`s so of that American miseduation anyways they got many mofo fuk up and guilty over alot of s*it anyway. I traveled many places, lived with many nationalites and if I misunderstood it maybe some others would too. It`s is simple I didn`t mean it that way simple words. Being that I`m not a young punk I decide to call you out if you are in fact a dumb monkey like your name tag!!!

So before this goes any further I would say if you are true, and your words were miscontrued thanks binger for clarifying and to dub I couldn`t be racist cuz I never had the power to destroy, control, or harm anyone in our country. But rather than speaking in code, using sacarasm, and thinking everything is the other guys problem check ya self first.

secondly tell me how a reference to peoples ages can be construed as racist- convince me of that and i may think that perhaps you are not a overreactionary xenophobic with a fruedian obsession- but i dont think you can; admit it you jumped at something but you were wrong- end of story

"nipper" is an extension of "nip" which is a racially derogatory term toward Japanese people (shortened from Nipponese, I would assume).

"nipper" is also British slang for a young person. In Britain, they probably are unaware of the American slang derogatory term "nip", and in America we are unfamiliar with the use of "nipper" as a term for a young person.

You called a Japanese guy a "nipper", however you are British and were referring to his age, not his race.

See where the misunderstanding happened now?

FYI, Blue Haze---in Britain they also call cigarettes "fags", so on that note I think you should go smoke a fag and calm down.

- i should have just let haze carry on misreading things (my username is still DUB-munkey by the way- does your monitor not show the complex word which is 'dub' properly or can you not read a word without subconsciously attributing a negative connotation to it?) and not replied- no one else would have said anything and we would still be talking about.... shit what was this thread about again...

I didn`t have the will to try to teach nor educate a bigot, racist or ignorant whichever the case but thanks for your input Tic Tac and don`t worry a bearly lost a blink over the remarks just a laugh but I don`t lets silly stuff slide either from anyone 2000 posts or whatever not in 2005. Think of the next young user joining this post. I know about the erasers called rubbers too I get it been to England before you might not know.
