OK so can someone tell me the difference between faders. What is PCV, Standard or Opitical. Is there a digital??

The reason I ask is cuz my band is recording our frist full length album and I want to get a new mixer before I recods my tracks. I have about two months before I need to actually start recording so I want to get a new mixer that will not crackle when I use the fader. I'm just getting sick of having to replace the fader all the time and I want to get something that will help me not hinder my performance.

This is what I have Numark DM300IX.

What should I upgrade to?? I have been looking at the VESTAX PCV-275 DJ MIXER or the Vestax PMC-37 PRO Professional Mixing Controller...What do you think?

thanks in advance[/code]

The PCV faders have been tested for over 2 million cross fades with no loss in sound quality whatsover.. Basically they are good.. you'll notice the difference straight away from ya Numark. Go for the PCV you wont be dissapointed.
