how to sync the mpc with motif es

i want to know how to sync the mpc with the motif. i tried multiple times and i still cant figure it out. Also i need to know how to control the motif from the mpc.

mpc midi out A to midi in on motif, midi out motif to midi in A on MPC... you need two midi cables, outs to ins, this is called the HANDSHAKE METHOD. Make sure you set the midi channels on the mpc sequencer.
