How many programs?

Do u guys use more than one MPC program in one song?

For the first time, I have run out of pads/banks and am not sure how to incorporate a chopped bassline on a 2nd program in orginal song. I thought u could use up to 4 pgms at a time.

Depends on the MPC. Are we taking about MPC60, 3000, 2000, 2000xl, 4000?

You can use up to 4 on the MPC2000XL. Most I've used is 2.. one for drums / samples, 2nd for a bass program spread across my keyboard.

After you have a program in internal memory, go shift+6, drum 2, assign, then do your thizzle.. drum 3 for a 3rd, and 4 for a 4th.

My bad, I am working with MPC2000 (not xl).
