Got a pretty weird problem. I've ran through the whole 270 pages in this forum concerning this but nothing touched base to my needs.
I got a homeboy who is working with Cubase VST 3.1 He has Sound Blaster audiology/interface as his sound base for PC recording. He also gots a MPC 2000 and a Sound Mod. Anyway duke needed some help running Midi into Cubase. So I helped and showed him the basics. Set the MPC to slave, Midi/Snyc F-9 and all that junk.
But on Cubase end aint nothing recording in??? Beats the hell out of me son. I aint to hip to Cubase VST 3.1 But midi is normally the same on any system around. So for those who are well rounded in Cubase VST junk can yall give a run down as far as what Cubase needs to be set as in it's commands to sync with the MPC.
I had set the option to send the midi singal but nothing in record came in from the MPC?? I noticed the options on the left side such as "Bank, Vol, Program, etc"
Just holla back and let me know if yall got an idea to what's missing here cuz I aint never seen this before so I figured to hit the board up with some jewels, word iz bond.
