question? burnin 2 CD

so when u burn to a CD and the outputs are MAIN OUT would u still need a new OS version or ak.sys? the program or any programs on your PC? how can you change the file to an MP3 once it is on the PC?

on the thread bout FAQ, it says its possible to not burn but put tracks onto a CD, then change it, BUT would u still also need an interface or just hook the MPC up by USB??

you cannot burn an audio cd with the mpc4000.



you will need a cd drive on your computer, and some sort of cd burning software. If you want to convert to mp3, the you will need mp3 software.



to be honest, I does not seem like you have a clue. Could you please explain what exactly you are trying to do.

I jus heard that from the MPC 4k u could not burn audio, but data or files, right??, and that while doin that you could record a track with the output on MAIN OUT and by doing that u could maybe burn that somehow as something I dont know what onto a CD from the MPC. This is wat it says also on the thread about FAQ's ON THE MPC some1 posted. thanx

It was said that you can Record the Main Out's to get a WAV file. And then it is up to you
to figure out how you want to transfer it to the computer. If you want to use USB then go for it. If you want to burn the WAV to CD as a DATA file , then go for it. But either way you will not
get an Audio CD out of it. If you have a CD player that will paly Burned WAV files then
you can listen to it in that, but it is still a DATA CD with WAV's on it.
