Time stretching and sampling on MPC 2000?

How do you use the time stretching option on a MPC 2000? I also wanted to know how do you take a sampled baseline sound that was sampled from the MP and make that baseline sound be able to be structured throughout all of the keys of a motif keyboard so you can have the baseline on the motif keys.

THERE IS NO time stretch on the mpc 2000 classic

just buy a sampler with the options that you need. I've seen ASR-X's for as cheap as $199 on ebay. Time-scaling (that's what they call it) normalizing, hi-low and band pass filters, in-depth effects, and a midi controller.... it's got everything the MPC needs, but doesn't have. The sequencer is wack (as we all know) but you don't need that part of it.

i was just flowers round though. Ive never time stretched and its not somethin i need to do. For now, im chillin with just the 2k, but if i ever need all that ish that you mentioned, ill def look into the asr x. good looks

just get some good software. there are free apps that can timestretch.

If you do end up getting it get the RED ASR X Pro. It kills the original black one.
