I moved sum .wav sounds to a floppy and tried to open em on the MPC-2000 but it says "Invalid File Format" or sum shit :? It's a .WAV file!!

Whats wrong??

Should I format the disc in some way or whats up?

Ok,

the wav file must have these properties.

16bit PCM WAV.

I dont remember if the 2000 loads WAV's so this could be the issue, I know the 2000XL does for definite.

It needs to be formated to fat16 on the pc.I believe.I never go that route.I always just burn em to disk and load them through a cd player. It's alot faster and easier than messin' with those floppies.
