BASSLINES.....

I WAS WONDERING WHAT'S EVERYONES TECHNIQUE ON CREATING A BASSLINE. I TRY TO PLAY WITH MY KEYBOARD BUT I ALWAYS SEEM TO BE OUT OF KEY. I NEED ALL THE ADVICE I COULD GET.

out of key? I use a keyboard /midi, and assign one bass note to MIDI, and just play notes on the keys. If you general knowledge of how to play, and have a decent range of keys ..you should be able to get the bass into key, so that it can play however you want. You'lll have to play around with it, maybe resample, ?
