HELP A DUDE OUT MPC 2000 VS MPC60 I OR II

SUP FELLAS I HAVE MPC 2000 FULLY LOADED.. WAS THINKING ABOUT GETTING MPC 60 I HEAR SO MUCH ABOUT THE FEEL OF IT... I DO ALL MY SAMPLING ON ASR 10 SO I ONLY NEED MPC FOR DRUMS.... HONESTLY I KNOW A LOT OF DUDES DOWN THE MPC2000 JUST BECAUSE THEY HAVE THE MPC60...AND THEY NEVER EVEN HAD A MPC2000 TO COMPARE TO... IF YOU HAVE HAD BOTH MACHINES IS IT WORTH SWITCHING UP...IM NOT ONE TO CHANGE MY EQUIPMENT UP EVERY 5 MIN ... AND I HATE TO SPEND THE MONEY BECAUSE I LOVE MY SET UP... JUST WANTED TO KNOW IF MPC 60 IS REALLY THAT MUCH BETTER... I DONT THINK 60 READS WAVE FILES EITHER CORRECT ME IF IM WRONG .. AIIIGHT FELLAAS ONE.....NY

If you have a 2000 and like it, there is no reason to sell it

A 60 or 60II may be a little bit 'warmer' especially on kicks or bass, but the 2000 is real clean. You could probably EQ or filter the 'warmth' out of a 2000 with a little work. And if you got that piece expanded, keep it. Just curious I saw you mentioned you do all you sampling with the ASR-10 except for drums. I have experience with both the old Ensoniq's and MPC's and I personally like the sound of the MPC's better. To me it sounds more like the source with MPC's. Also, you can't sample digital directly with the ASR-10. Why do you prefer the ASR-10 for sampling? Oh, if you want more 'feel' out of your tracks, cop a DAW like Cubase, Logic, or Protools and experiment with sliding drum sounds off the quantize grid. Way better than 'swing' in my opinion.

Yes that is in fact exactly what I'm saying. No question, the 60 or 60II have a warmth that even exceeds the 3000. It's a subtle quality though, not 'night-and-day' or whatever. I got a 2000 and a 3000 and when I sample with the 3000 I definitely hear a 'warmth' or subtle sweetening on the low-end I don't hear with the 2000's playback. Why is it so hard to believe? Could you provide me a list of hotshot producers that use the piece of gear you own like them other advocates that hound me?? Thank you.
