Burning AKAI CD images in Mac OS X

Has anyone been doing this? How have you been doing it? Do your CDs work in your MPC 4000?

I usually Just use Toast and Make sure that it is PC compatible since the AKAI MPC is formatted towards that...

If you save anything from the MPC save it off of the INTERNAL DATA SAVE.
Or else the Aksys will convert the DATA you save to your Systems internal Codes.

Basically
PC creates PC akai files...Mac create MAc files.....
Akai messed up the Aksys by allowing it to convert the Programs once draged to the HD..

Akai- Burnt Cd -Mac-Pc-Dos- Works on all...

How do you ensure the compatibility along the line.

Example:

I have Akai Deepest India in a stuffit file (SIT). I uncompress it and out comes an .IMG file. I drag it into Toast and it asks me if I am sure that it is a valid disk image. I've been told to set the sectors to 2048 and say yes. I do it and the CD burns fine. I load it up into the 4000. It shows as an AKAI S1000 disk with the Alphabetical folders and stuff, but I seem to lose half the samples and programs on the CD, this is happening with a good number of AKAI CD images I have. Have you experienced a problem like this. How do you deal with turning images into CDs.
