I don't have a photo, that's all got in the email.
Just line up the + signs as pins, and the -- and | are jumpers.

OK thank you for all your help so far.Another question , i have to find a Teac fd-235hf drive with how many pins?Cause all the drives i have found so far on ebay they have either 4 pins (like the first picture i posted) or zero pins (like the second picture i posted).

I have not replaced a floppy successfully, so I can't really say, someone reported the 4 pin version working, but I can't vouch for that. It didn't work on an old OS version I tried.

So it's a bad situation then.What i am going to do is , give it a try with the 4-pin drive and if it doesn't work out, i will have to order it from Forat.?I just hope that forat are reliable(because of the international shiping ).
Additionally i am thinking of buying the scsi upgrade from roger linn.I just wanted to know first how difficult it gonna be to install it myself.Have you installed one El?

Finally i found a solution to my problem.I have an old mc - 500.So i open it , took the floppy drive out and connect it with my 60.Boom the floppy drive worked!!

What model drive is it and does it have jumpers? if so what are the settings.

It is the stock floppy drive of the Roland mc-500 sequencer.It is a Matsushita model.I doubt you will find any of these because they are pretty old.It does have a jumper block , not at the back but at the bottom of the drive.I didn't mess with the jumpers though.I just took the drive and plug it in my 60.The only problem is ,it doesn't load any old mpc disks.In oder to load/save to a disk you have to format it in the new (matsusita) floppy drive first.

Here's the diagram I posted once before, Elmacaco there are some post missing from the diagram you posted. If that's the one I sent you no wonder it did'nt work.

Nah it is an untested one. It worked on OS 3.03 for someone else.
It got messed up in the copy, I'll try again, no posts missing, the two off to the side are connected. And the empty row looks like a row but it's empty. it really comes together when you see the jumper block for real.

OK, I never tried with 3.03, I only tried it on 2.02 and 3.10

It did it again!!! It looked fine in the typing screen!!
Argh.
Anyhow, I think this 60 had some sort of electrical problem messing with the floppy circuitry, I'm sure the settings would have worked. What's funny is, this 60 didn't have the original floppy drive anyway, it had a fd-235HF, with a different set of settings, none worked, which makes me think my friend bought it from a guy who's floppy failed, he replaced it, it still don't work, so he sold it.
