loading emu sounds

has anyone tried loading some sounds off emu sample disc like formula 4000 or platinum phatt and notice some air after low bass sounds when loading them in the 4000, I tried trimming them but a lot of the bass sounds are multisampled and takes a lot of time anyone else expierience this, or have any other methods of trimming sounds or editing them to take the air off the end, the air sound or poping sound usually happen when I taake my hand off the note

You should format change these to akai.Using something like cdxract, or translator, much simpler for me anyway to have everything in the same format.

I use cd xtract. I keep all my sampler patches on my computer drive. I use ak.sys to load patches as needed.

I also used cd xtract. I loaded all the converted samples onto the MPC hard drive so I don't gotta mess with ak.sys in that regard.

where can I get cd xtract software is it available for pc

a simple google search will pobably answer that question. seriously you shopuld at least try to help yourself. you won't get too far depending on other people to inform you

Honestly, most emu cd's are less than 500mb. If you have full memory in your mpc4000. You could load most, or all of a cd into ram, then save in a folder on your mpc4000 harddrive.

cd xtract is not that needed.

first of all, I don't depend on people to do anything for me , and I don't need smart a-- remarks. I just asked a question about a software I was unfamiliar with, second I already have that CD and several more on my hard drive of my 4000, if you don't want to help people or don't have time, here is a suggestion don't answer people questions, if you think your so much better or smarter than everyone, which I don't think you are or you wouldn't spend so much time trying to insult people on this forum, so do us a favor find some one else to f--- with because I'M NOT THE ONE
