I'm using the mpc2000xl, and the triton, throwing tracks into the pro tools and syncing the digi002 back into the mpc.
What is the best way to quiet down all tracks except the selected track:
Would it be
1) turning down all volumes in mix, keeping it in song mode.
2) creating a song conversion and turn mix volumes down.
3) keep it song mode and mute with pads in each sequence
Also, I'm using the triton as a slave to the mpc, then throwing it into the pro tools. Do I use the same method in dropping track for track, or is there something else that needs to happen?
