I think my mpc 2000 is broke

Went to through the search engine and manual has nt really helped so.......

I insert my floppy disk of sounds, apply a file to a pad and it still does not make any sound. All I want to hear is ANY sound come from outta this thing.

What am I doing wrong???

Make sure you assign the sound to a pad and press do it to enter.Once you go back to the main screen turn the full level on.Give that a shot and see what happens.

And remember the MPC has no speaker. You need speakers or headphones.
