Anyone using 4000 with Yamaha 01V

Wanted to chat with peeps using similar set-ups.

I rock a o1v.I mostly use it as controll suface for cubase sx via midi.I run the 4000 in to o1v S/pdif ...Im not real fond of the A/D converters on o1v.

Oh man; the converters on the Yamaha 01v are great. Eq is top notch too man; remember this is a mini 02R. I used to use the adat litepipe option from the mpc 4000 to the 01v and the 01v to the Pc/mac.

I have one aswell, think it sounds a bit harsh and cold (hey its a digital mixer) although great value and it works flawlessly!! solid mixer really .. the 4k records all of the o1v´s fader, fx, mute automation .. I´d like to set it up as a midi fader box aswell haven´t gotten into it.. so aslong as we are one the topic 730beats, could you share some light ... thx!
