is there any way to convert stereo to mono? its probably not possible since i cant find it...

I don't really deal with stereo much (hey, I'm on a 60, I'm not supposed to!)

I'd do it in a software editor.

Man that's cool!!The things I miss by sampling mono!

Does the 3000 have the adjust timing between both sides of the stereo sound screen? I have combined some sounds that way and it can be pretty fun, but I think the soft start offset would be faster.

Nope. Reason being is that an MPC3000 samples in true stereo so both L+R are sample locked and phase accurate from the word go.
