The Micro is probably using NRPN's to transmit the data for the arpeggio.
The problem with that is there is no set standard for the use of NRPN's and RPN's so manufactures have different ways of implementing them into their products.
In other words different devices from other vendors will see and handle RPN/NRPN data differently.
Some devices might understand it and some won't.
They are a pretty effective way to deal with control data but is still somewhat open ended.
For this reason most devices default setup is NRPN disabled to avoid conflicts in the data stream.
