gettin rid of my old joints

When I make bangers I burn them with my CD-RW drive every so often to save them from gettin' lost. The problem is when I go back to the beat I build on it, when I save the new edition of my beat I have to create a new file. I can't erase the older edition of my beat on my disk, even though I have a RW. Is there a way to save free space on my disk? By the way I have OS 1.51....... Thanx in advance community\

first off, you shouls pdate yor os. It works great 1.7

the way cd/rw's have always worked. is you have to erase the whole disk.

I just use a new cdr evertime. They are cheaper than floppies now.

you should consider getting a hard drive for the mpc, it s very convenient to use

if you don t got that kind of money (around $80), you ll have to keep doing it the way you described it with CD RWs

I use the same CD-RW and put it in a new folder with the date on ., myself, save some
of our planet ...

does the pc support multi session burns?

It's crazy cause I thought this would cure some of my headaches I had from me not having enough room on my zips. I'm the type of dude who starts a beat..and then let my brain marinate for a minute, come back to it and finish it off. So now I'll end up with like 5 or 6 versions of the same beat... it's just annoying seeing all that waste in my files. It's cool though next step is gettin' a hard drive. Thanx everyone
