loop /tempo

Hi friends, i have 2 question about mpc2000xl, my first question is that i would like to say how could i change the tune of a group of a pads not sound to sound, it´s say that tune affect to all group of samples.

Other question .. i would like to know how to know when a loop is a tempo? when i have a sample and i want to make a loop, how could i know where i have to make the loop for it´s a tempo with the bpm of the sequence. Sorry for my english but im spanish. Thank you friends

1.Tuning is what u do to samples (Its pitch) - Tune the sample or the sample on the pad - Whateva order makes u feel good

2.Count the beats. Tap your foot. 1...2...3...4 = 1bar (4beats) Loop bars

Your english might be wack, but Im sure u can read....You need to do some manual reading and forum searching

Or you could always use the tap tempo to get the B.P.M.

jeje count the beats with the foot ... :S i will try explain better.. well i take a sample and use zone button, well.. when i have the sample divided in zones for example i want to make a loop in a sound but if my beat have a 92.5 bpm how could i take that loop for fit in my beat? i question this because when you have to make a loop there isn´t a metronome like when you are recording and with the foot i couldnt beat time with the precise bpm..thank you

Why don't you make the beat after setted the loop?
Usually I make the loop, set the tempo of the song like the loop tempo, and then make the beat at that tempo. This because I've mpc2000 classic and no timestretch, so you can also use the timestrech function to fit the loop to the tempo you use for the beat but I don't know how to do, and who know it will probably tell you 2 look at manual...
Or, I think, if you have a pc you can use the timestrech function of any audio program you like.

From Trim screen, loop up sample - Make loop points.... Then press F4. U can find the length of beats here (4beats = 1bar)

If you need to preserve pitch but increase/decrease tempo, u need to timestretch. This is what helps u to fit samples to premade beats.
