Hi friends, i have 2 question about mpc2000xl, my first question is that i would like to say how could i change the tune of a group of a pads not sound to sound, it´s say that tune affect to all group of samples.

Other question .. i would like to know how to know when a loop is a tempo? when i have a sample and i want to make a loop, how could i know where i have to make the loop for it´s a tempo with the bpm of the sequence. Sorry for my english but im spanish. Thank you friends

any loop can have a tempo - it all depends on where the 8-count lies

just count out your 8 from the beginning of the sample

1--2--3--4--5--6--7--8--1--2--3--4--5--6--7--8

the basis of music ... once you trim your sample down to fit your eight count - you can use your tap tempo button and tap it to the beat to find out the actual bpm - i suggest tapping the sample out 10+ times to see which numbers repeat the most

2kxl cannot do that.
