I think you are right. But again that brings me to another thing. A while ago a friend of mine in NY ask me to try a little experiment. What he wanted to do was for me to send him the sequence and the program for one of my beats over the internet as an attached file to an email. It didn't work because the MPC couldn't recognize the files after they had been loaded to the computer. For some reason the computer change something once the file had been loaded. So since you are saying that the compativility might be thru the computer I'm afraid that the same thing could happen. Unless we where doing something wrong that you might know a way around for.

My MPC recognises files that have been on my pc (i.e I back stuff up from zip drive onto pc & Im able to put onto another zip or whatever and load onto the mpc)

Yeah, I got all my midi sequences and sounds backed up to a PC as well, no problem, the sequences even work in Reason.

when is it going to drop? I havn't masterd mines yet but i'll get a 1000 just for the reason it size
