Lissen my peeps.....if you havent heard this track go get it. Then play it at least 3 times. Its hot as hell. At lot of us in this forum write about how Kanye does this and how does Kanye do that... Trust me man.... your production skills gotta be tight to come up with that track. I aint jockin' my man Kanye but Im tellin you this is real hip hop. I guess this is the result of doing 5 beats a day for 3 summers. I welcome your input.

agreed that this is a good track. but he didn't do anything, those are loops kid! just loops. not saying the its no good but i doesn't take sh*t to loop.

i still love that track though!

My reply to your opinion is simply this...the track is hot. Its a lot more going on in that production than just sampleing loops. His filtering technique is tight. The drums are grimy and crispy and the mix is quite correct. I imagine one could find something less than complimentary say than "they are just loops man...."

I have to agree on the loops arguement.....Its just that - The idea is worth more. To replicate is nothing, but to think of it in the 1st place is priceless! Thats where u see the real value

Oh... by the way I want to simply add that without looking at the liner notes on this album, most MPC heads probably dont even know where the sample came from. I give a lot of props to producers who dont sample the obivious.

Exactly.... I dare peeps to get those loops and come up with the same exact track he did... You might even be able to come up with something close, but thats only by comparing it to his track... The point is none of you could've or did come up with putting those loops together and filtering and layering in the same way he did... Or would mix it in the same wya he did... Cats need to stop hatin on Kanye and let the man do his thing... He's got skills period...
