24 bit to 16 bit wav file Conversion?

What programs are easy to use to convert 24 bit wav files to 16 bit wav files?

Pretty much any audio editor or DAW can do that. There are even some freeware editors around; check www.versiontracker.com for a nice overview of freeware/shareware for your platform.

The Adobe one is Cool Edit Pro, the newer version isnt it?

It's not like Adobe fired all the people that worked for Cool Edit Pro, they just bought it.

Adobe is a private comapny thats sold on the stock market worth millions and millions of dollars...It's not like when they by out companies they userp them with a whole new group of people to run it.

THat's not what he's sayin'.Cool Edit was the original version before Adobe bought it.So if you want to do it the easy way use Cool Edit and not Audition.
