dude where do i find furniture stand to put mpc on

what are they acalled quick lock or something??!! Im looking for a stand to put an mpc on......can someone point me in a direction where i can find this type of furntiure for mpcs?????

DUDE, WHERE'S MY CAR?? Sorry just playin, couldn't resist...But seriously, why don't you take an old chair (like one of them 70's joints with a hollow metal frame) and saw the backing off with a hacksaw. With a towel over it, it makes a nice little stand where you can sit in a chair and work on beats(I made one for myself). Or cop one of those double x stands and use the top tier for the MPC and maybe put a keyboard on the bottom if you got one. S*** just modify some piece of furniture you already got at the house for your s***. Just some low budget ideas really- no need to give these companies anymore money then they already gettin if you ain't makin big $$$ from your music. I mean damn wouldn't mind having a smooth Argosy desk + extra Argosy rack space, but if I ain't building an SSL console into that room, then f*** it.

^Word.Just find a desk or something through Craiglist or Freecycle or something.Or like Tombstone suggested just use somethin' you already have at the house.Why spend all that doe on a desk/stand when you can use it for gear?

You can get a cheap (used?) folding X keyboard stand and put a wooden plank on it, then put the MPC on top. On stage, I use the X stand with an empty guitar case or keyboard case on top.

yo i really suggest you invest a hundred bucks into a stand like quiklok, or the mix400 or whatever its called...i bought the quiklok and for my situation, i just pull it right next to me while im sleepin, eating, chillin, thinking, u get the point, buy one, they're dope...peace...

Good move, it's a lot more functional than people think.
The Good thing about the MIX-400 is it works with the 2000, 2000xl, 60, 60II, 3000 and 4000 as well as other units like SP's.

put it on your kitchen table or desk...

Don't ever put the mpc in the kitchen or anywhere extremely warm.All that heat while destroy your joint in no time.
