MPC to S950 Connections

i am getting an s950 next week and wanted to just check on the midicables as i plan on ordering them at the end of the week. i found this post...

do i need to connect the mpc's midi in and out to the s950's in and out or do i just need to use the midi out? just want to check before i order cables.

If you only want to sequence samples on the s950 from your MPC a midicable from the MPC midi out to the s950 midi IN should do the trick.

thanks, thats what i was thinking. just out of interest what would i use the s950's out to the mpc's in for?

to trigger sounds off of the MP, but that's not practicle (because the s950 is like a sound module).
