i only save a beat if i think its hot... if i dont like how its coming out i'll just save the sample and start from scratch later... i used to save everything, ideas and drum patterns but i hardly went back to them later so i stopped doing that..

ok les ask the question again and say how many of those keepers are just 4-bar, 8-bar beats?

no diss its just that i often get stuck on the beat/loop/groove whaever and its those ones that fill my keepers list as they work but need to be taken further-

word i keep all but some part sounds wack i'll go back and work on it add some differents elements or re work the drums layer some ish or add some effects. Most stuff ends up hot. Or i wait for my boy to come over and see what he thinks then we'll tweak it together just for a different perspective. Word UP! P.S Ali G is my hero
