Should I trade a MPC2000XL for an MPC60II?

Just wanted to know you guys' opinion on this? Can I still install a zip drive on an MPC60II? What's the maximum amount of sample time I can get on it? All I really know right now is that the ish sounded good when I was messing with it? What ya'll think?

See if you can keep both. If not, I wouldn't trade away the XL, unless I also had some other tools. If you want that 12 bit sound, you can also cop a used Emax or Akai S900 or S950 for cheap these days. Won't sound the same as the 60, but will sound similar.

I would say keep the 2000xl. You could make the MPC 2000xl sound like the mpc 60 II. I dont know about the sample time, the 2000 comes with 2 meg's and can upgrade to 32 meg's. The 60 only goes up to a certain amount of kilobytes. Keep the MPC 2000xl

Donjay is right, don't go backwards, go forward. 2000xl is superior in everyway, I know I probably just pissed some people off saying that but the specs are there. That's just me though. Sup, Don...

I wouldn't because the 2kxl has more options.

I'm thinking about trading in my Sony bigscreen for a RCA black and white. "I Love Lucy" looks so killer on the RCA. Whatchy'all think?

BTW i can find you a MPC60II with all the o.s and scsi upgrade...i also think it has the roger linn 3000 upgrade if y'all got a 4000 on the table.....sounds like a deal,right? :twisted: :twisted: :twisted:

Remedial you are crazy. You are asking to trade and Xbox for a Gameboy and not even the new one but the old one that doesn't even have color. I thought I let you know in a way that is easy to understand for you........God help him please.

Its simple, I have one, and i like the tunes I pump out on the 60 better than my 2000XL tunes.

I swear I used the time strecth feature once and the zone feature twice, big deal.
