My first MPC Song

Ok last weekend i pieced together a ruff idea for
a song and it's my first MPC Song! I'm so excited.
I am a Cubase SX user and got the MPC to get
my drums tite.. and boy am i ever.. i literally used
the same kit (done in MPC editor) that i use in
Battery and came up with a hot beat that i would
never have plucked out on keys.. it really is something
about playing the pads, the timing and the sound of
the MPC that is the BOMB!!! I"m hooked.. just my MPC
and a Triton and i have a hot ass idea for a song..

oh and thanks for this forum it absolutely rocks.
Even tho i think the MPC is the most intuitive sequencers
i've used.. this forum is a God send

thanks yall.. i'll def. post a song. when i get it recorded.. i'm still kinda resetting up my whole studio to make room for the MPC in the mix.. i also just got a MOTU .. just waiting to get a gear rack and my NS10s out the shop and i'll be cooking w/gas by end of mid april.. in the meantime .. i gotta keep learning MPC tricks! Yep Hardware is da bomb.. but i got love for Software too it's where i can finish songs and final mixes the best and is my natural go to.. but again couldn't get the drums rite there.. what i'm really loving about the MPC is doing the synth sequencing there too.. i'll prob. do all my bass and drums sequencing there first unless i'm doing a ballad or an idea comes samples first in the sequencer. i'm hoping the Yamaha/Steinberg merger will be good for Cubase and the marriage of the two worlds..

Cool,just keep wokin' and keep your head in those manuals also.You'll be surprised how much info is overlooked cause "you" tryin' to jump into makin' a track without really knowin "your" gear.I'm still learnin myself so my manuals are always handy.Good Luck and Enjoy.
