anybody familiar with vs 880?

a buddy of mine has one and is having problems with it. everytime he turns it on everything is loaded up, but as soon as he touches a button, any button, it says system error. i havent checked it out personally yet. any suggestions before i go over there to look at it?

i have a VS i had problems with mine acouple of months ago , mine would shut off right after turning it on,

may be he didn't shut it down correctly.try to see if the drive is connected corretly. it dont say much in the manual about system error.

find out if he has drive connected to it/ if he does make sure its connected properly.

hope this helps , i kno i was stressin when mine went down , it cost me $275 to get it fixed.
