midi help with the micro korg

I have been trying for a lil while now to set up my micro korg with my MPC with little success. When I check the monitor to see if the connection is being made all seems to be ok however I am getting no sound from the micro korg through the mpc when I try to record a sequence (or at any other time). All the midi cables are connected corectly and everything seems to be cool but still no go.

Any suggestions?

Not sure how you have everything setup but this is the way everything should be setup: MPC midi out A to Korg midi in/Korg midi out to MPC midi in 1. In the track view cursor to "Drum1", change to MIDI:1A-Device01. Make sure the Korg is set to transmit on midi channel 1. Now assuming you have the Korg plugged into a mixer or soundcard, not the MPC, you should hear something when you hit the pads on the MPC or the keys on the Korg.
