sup yall i'm new to this site. I just bought an mpc2000xl a week ago. I really dont know where to start with the dam thing. it didnt come with a manual, i bought the last one at guitar center and some one had come in a few days befor asking for a manual and they gave it to the dude. I down laoded the manual but its still confusing. I got some sampling background, i use to use some cheap boss sampler that basically just looped stuff. I really dont know how to do anything with it but sample and edit the sample. ANy tips as where to start?
That's a powerful machine man. You are in for some serious joy. Visit some of the tutorials here to learn more. Pretty much, you need some help understanding the sequencer. So, check out the MPC-Tutor sequencing tutorials and do a search looking for MPC sequencing here too. Also visit www.midicase.com for more info on the MPC2000XL.
