You don't necessarily need to place first to win.Think about it like this,How many cats will remember your name/your face now?Second is tight because cats will remember you.You gotta get a rep first before you can do real damage right?

the guy that won was the crowd favorite but the hiphop heads were letting me know that i did my thing too.. the sets were as long as 10-15 mins, i got slightly penalized because my set was only 6 min. fuc!< 10 mins. is a long time for a hip hop dj battle set.. the guy who won was also playing z-tripp records...one dude battled w/ 80's and house...i can't be mad beause i lost, i just wish i hadn't spent so much time w/ my mpc and more on my decks...

imma practise more now..i don't want to lose again..

peace to "the mad-hatter' who beat me out..

im on my way to learnin ho to dj now. i've always wanted to, but didnt have the money for it. i've been spending all my cash on vinyl and my mpc and things of that sort. ima look for somewhere i can get some technics for cheap, wit a mixer.

second place is where its at. i agree wit stryke, now muh phuckas gonna be lookin for you. and u only had a 6min set? you got 2nd with a shorter set than everyone...think about how much damage you woulda done if your's was as long as everyone elses....

peace man,
