No reason not to use represses.especially for D.J's.I don't scratch but when i do get into that area of production i'd rather use a copy than damage an original.Especially since some of those rare joints are worth big bucks.

Honestly I consider myself having a pretty large collection for an amateur (4000 records) and I have tons of reissues. Life is way to short to worry about an original pressing. You arent going to be burried with your records (i know some cats might seriously do this) but why deprive yourself of so much great hard to find records for the simple fact that you cant find the OG or you dont want to shell out 100.00. I have the entire dusty library, JB reissues, Studio One. I would of neglected all this great FUNK, Soul, and tons of shit to sample

as long as its a "quality" repress/bootleg/comp...

if its some janky azz pressing that they want $20 bucks for, thats where chit gets outta hand... ive copped a few hiphop repressed lps that fukn skipped straight out the shrink-wrap... you gotta watch for these noname azz lables droppin some ol school classic chit tryin to make a quick buck but they dont take the time to do it so that the product is quality...

thats gay chit, straight up...

Some labels do bad work, it has to be its done from the studio's masters. when its done this way I have no problem with represses!
