Maximum USB Hard drive

What's the biggest USB external hard drive one can use with the 4K?

Is there a 120gig limit like the internal one?

So it's possible to format a drive bigger than 120GB with Fat 32 and use it with the 4K?

strange, the FAT32 format should limit the size of drives to 127 GB

Which brand are you using? I'll probably be picking up a 160GB Wetern Digital tomorrow. I hope it works.

Im using a lacie 160 gig drive. it cost me about 130 bucks.

I'm looking for an internal drive not external. The only Lacie drives I see online are either USB or firewire external drives. Are you using an external drive?

comp usa, doont think there charging that anymore. I believe its now 160. Its the model that says designded by proche on the side

I see them. All the Lacie drives are external. I thought you wre referring to an internal drive which is what I'm looking for.

Yeah with internal the limit is 127. I put a 160 gig drive but it only read 127. The 160 gig drive was actually cheaper than the 120 gig with in store rebates so I was like **** it.
