stereo samples

Hi does ayone have some advice on stereo samples on the 1000? I recently got my MPC and have been gettin the mechanics down pretty good, reading the manual etc. How do I make a sample play in stereo?DO I start with a stereo sample in my wav editor? Do i adjust the pan? everything seems to be coming out the left side. Thanks for any help or advice guys. one.

Hmm. Make sure when you're sampling you sample in stereo and not mono. I don't have a 1000 so that's all I can help with. Make sure all the wires and cables are connected right.

are you using the analog inputs? be sure to use the right and left input and also make sure your source is playing in stereo.

I've been listening and playing back through the headphone output, either through phones or through my reciever via 1/8 inch stereo jack to rca outs. I've been sampling in stereo, but all my samples have been sent to the MPC's flash card through the USB connection after I chop them in acid. Should i sample directly through the stereo in? my sound card isn't that good and I'm worried about noise interference. Thanks again.

WellI do all my sampling direct to the MPC with no problem. Try using digital out that is allot cleaner

Can anyone recommend a good soundcard for PC with nolatency issues with a digital out? I got firewire and usb 2.0. Anyone heard anything about the audigy platinum that goes in the pci card slot?

forget those creatine shitboxes... well a depends on how much you got to spend in the card but m-audio audiophile under 100$ emu 0404 or 1212 those are all pci cards but you can get the audiophile in usb and firewire too but those are more expensive....
