Cutting loops

I would like to know if it's possible to cut up loops and assign the parts to different keys or pads
(like recycle) on the 4000??

you can do it with the slice regions function and then use the function to create program with slices, in your sample window under edit. First though you will need to set up your regions. In sample edit mode, go to the region window and highlight the number of regions then hit WINDOW and you can change the amount of regions, now you will need to dial in each region to taste, now you are ready to slice. I must add that it is 10x easier to do this via Ak.sys and Recycle. But sometimes if the sample is small it's pretty quick to use the internal slice function.
