no i have a 2000XL check my profile to see what extras i have that might interfear with some process!!!
Your right in as much as there is something wrong!!! 1.2 is very buggy but i cant seem to load any .wavs from zip on 1.14 i get no scsi device found on 1.14 all the time !!!
upon hearing that 1.2 resolves this issue(another forum) i installed it... thats where the problem started .. but it did fix the main problem of finding the drives.... ive only had the machine for 2 weeks now and when i first had it .. it never asked me for floppy only since i installed 1.2

( maybe i shouldnt point out that i have a broken EMU sampler aswell due to my own doing (hot swapping SCSI duh!!!)) so maybe you understand my asking you so many questions !!
!!but having said that , the MPC came with a 100 meg external ZIP drive , so i was surprised it didnt all just load up straight away !
Any ideas on where to get another CPU flash Rom is it?? i mean everytime i search i just find mentions of the F-ROM expansion chip (which i dont think is the same thing ?? can you put me right??
But dont worry if you aint got time - i know BRAVO has spent some time trying to help me ... and the machine does still work , and has ALREADY earnt its Money Back in Quality Beats
