page 83 of the mpc1000manual* deactivating autoload function-1. press the WINDOW key in the load from field of the load page(the load setup window will be displayed) 2.in the autoload field, set the field to OFF. 3. press the (F4) (CLOSE) key to close the window. next time u switch on the mpc1000 it will not load anything.

but 16mb is the max for now. as far as more memory theres alot of posts on here that explain which are the cheapest and which ones to buy

my main issue is that i have samples stuck in my mpc that are not in the autoload folder. is there anyway to get rid of them.
btw. i hate the manual. dont get me wrong i do know how to read....
and i read the manual. the answer is just not in my grasp.

i guess no one here has experienced anything like this...yo, even when i cut the mpc 1000 on and off the samples stay on. and i can see if they were the original kits. but they are newbie garbage samples and it seems as if they are just hanging around to stunt my growth as an artist. i know ill eventually get the extra memory for it. but until then im choppin up hot ish on sound forge and maintainin'.
