wrong file

so i just got an MPC 1000 and I am trying to transfer files from my computer to the MPC. I see the sample files on the MPC once I have transfered the sounds to the memory card but when i try to load it just says "wrong file!" What is the problem??

have you done a search in the archives ?
wrong + file gives you a list of posts amongst them are some posts related to mpc1k.
